Anzie Blue
Intimate venue in Hillsboro Village known for hosting live shows and songwriter rounds. A smaller, seated space where you can catch local artists and emerging talent in a relaxed setting.
What to Expect
Anzie Blue sits across the street from the Belcourt Theatre, one of the original homes of the Grand Ole Opry, just blocks from Music Row in Hillsboro Village. It opened as a live music venue in March 2023. Nashville's only woman-owned music venue, it's co-owned by Marcie Allen Van Mol, a 30-year music industry veteran who's landed brand partnerships for the Rolling Stones, Katy Perry, and Billy Joel, and her husband Derek Van Mol. The nearly 4,000-square-foot space leans into a luxe speakeasy look, with a 28-foot marble bar and a custom-built stage, holding up to 250 people standing or 150 seated. Steve Earle, Grace Bowers, Dierks Bentley, Caitlyn Smith, and Joy Oladokun have all played there. A monthly Women of Country showcase and a recurring Drag Experience series are two of its signature ongoing programs. It's also an official AMERICANAFEST and Tin Pan South venue. A Pride Month flash mob it hosted in 2023 went viral with over 60 million views. Parking is available in an adjacent garage, with the first hour free.
