City Winery
Concert venue, restaurant, and winery known for intimate shows, comedy, food, and wine. A seated experience where live music feels more like dinner and a show than a typical night out.
What to Expect
At City Winery, dinner and a show are one and the same. The main concert room holds around 300 people, all seated, with table service running through the performance. The wine program is central: they make wine on site, which makes City Winery Nashville's only downtown winery. The food is elevated enough to be the main event on its own, Southern-inspired with Mediterranean leanings, and the kitchen handles a sold-out show night without the quality slipping. The crowd leans toward the older and quieter side than most Nashville venues, attentive but not Bluebird-level silent. Shows start on time. The calendar runs a mix of singer-songwriter nights, comedy, and touring artists across a range of genres, so there's usually something worth checking regardless of when you're in town. An upstairs lounge with two patios has views of the downtown skyline and works well for drinks before the show. Valet parking runs $6, and there's a $5 self-park lot out front, which makes City Winery more accessible than most SoBro venues.
