What to Expect

Losers opened in 2005 as a hangout for Nashville's music industry crowd, a place for songwriters and industry folks to talk shop and hear live music off Broadway. The vibe is dive bar all the way: neon signs, two stages (one inside and a small one on the enclosed first-floor deck with garage doors), respectably priced drinks and bar food, and a crowd that mixes industry regulars, locals, and tourists. Head upstairs to an open-air rooftop deck with big screens and a full view of the Midtown skyline. Live music runs seven nights a week, with Losers Live full band showcase running Monday nights at 8pm, featuring live original music. During the summer, Losers Live takes it outdoors for their parking lot concert series. It's basically a free first-come, first-served block party with a multi-artist showcase of rising songwriters and major hitmakers. Recent outdoor acts include Jon Pardi, Chase Rice, and Riley Green with past acts as big as Morgan Wallen. The venue connects directly to Riley Green's Duck Blind next door, so you can check it out without ever actually leaving. Some free parking is available in the area, which is rare for Midtown Nashville. Celebrity bartender nights bring country artists behind the bar a few times a year. On any given night, the person next to you at the bar might be someone you've heard on the radio.
