Odie's
Midtown neighborhood bar and entertainment venue known for live music, DJs, sports, and the feel-good spirit of Old Dominion. A casual spot for drinks, games, and catching Nashville artists in a lively setting.
What to Expect
Odie's opened in April 2025, built by Old Dominion. The location means something to the band specifically: they used to play weekly across the street at a bar called the Blue Bar back when they were coming up. Old Dominion surprised the crowd with a pop-up show just two days after opening, and other major artists have followed since. Thomas Rhett played a surprise "Secret Set" here in April 2026, with Jordan Davis joining him onstage. Walk in and you pass the front porch bar facing Division Street first, then the lookout bar inside, a long bar lined with TVs. Past that, the main room holds the stage, with an actual 12-seat pontoon boat built into an elevated dock for watching the band from above the crowd. Out back, a separate patio runs a full outdoor kitchen and a massive LED screen for game days. Live music and DJs run Tuesday through Sunday, and Tuesdays specifically bring the Heavy Hitters songwriter round, with four writers rotating through each hour from 7 to 11pm. Nashville Scene named it Best Neighborhood Bar in its 2026 Best of Nashville issue. The kitchen leans into Southern bar food, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich gets called out most often, alongside nachos and sweet potato tots. The outdoor bar also pours margaritas by the bucket.
