Riverside Revival

Concert VenueVariety

East Nashville concert and event venue set inside a restored former church. An intimate space for live shows, special events, and performances with a more polished neighborhood feel.

What to Expect

Riverside Revival was a church before it was a concert venue, and it still looks the part in places: original chandeliers, stained glass windows, and a room that faces straight toward the main stage. It opened in late 2020 as part of the Boedecker Foundation Collaborative Campus, founded by Crocs co-founder George Boedecker Jr. Proceeds help support the Foundation's nonprofit partners, including WMOT, the local roots station that runs an on-campus studio here. A small balcony in back holds a few rows of seating with an elevated view of the stage, and the room flexes between seated dinner setups and standing room only depending on the event. Capacity runs around 400. The acoustics are excellent, whether the room's set for a full band or a solo set. The booking mixes major touring names with a steady run of benefit concerts. Emmylou Harris, Margo Price, and Brittany Howard have all played here. Brandi Carlile and Joy Oladokun headlined a recent fundraiser for The Theater Bug. Beyond concerts, the calendar also includes weddings, corporate events, and a summer documentary film series called Summer of Sound. Since private events fill much of the schedule, show nights don't run on a set weekly pattern, so check the venue's calendar before planning a visit.
